⭐Safety: Only blow out through the straw, never suck in.
⭐Oral motor: Strong, sustained blowing with the lips closed around the straw, while controlling the strength and direction of the air.
Make It Easier
Use a short, wide straw. An adult drips the paint and the child only blows. If blowing through a straw is hard, blow directly, close to the page.
Make It More Challenging
Blow in one direction to make a flame that leans sideways. With the same technique you can paint a volcano, a whale spouting water, or a tree with branches.
