Magic Salt Painting

Materials | | 1. Thick paper or cardstock | | | 2. Bottle of white liquid glue with a nozzle | | | 3. Table salt | | | 4. Watercolors and brush | | | 5. Cup of water |
Preparation: Cover the table with newspaper or plastic to collect excess salt. How to Play | | 1. Draw a simple picture in pencil. | | | 2. Trace the lines with an even stream of glue. | | | 3. While the glue is wet, cover every line generously with salt. | | | 4. Tilt the page over a bin or bowl to remove loose salt. | | | 5. Touch a very wet watercolor brush gently to one point and watch the color travel along the salt. | | | 6. Add different colors at several points until all lines are colored. |
