⭐Safety: Do not aim the butterfly at other people's faces. Only blow out through the straw.
⭐Oral motor: Strong, directed blowing through a straw strengthens the lips and control of the airflow.
Make It Easier
An adult draws the cutting line or prepares the tube in advance, and the child decorates, cuts, and glues. A piece of tape over the end of the tube helps seal it well.
Make It More Challenging
Hold a contest: whose butterfly flies farthest? Aim at a basket or a hoop on the floor, try a strong blow and then a gentle one, or make a bird, a bee, or a rocket instead.
