Materials | | 1. Clothespins | | | 2. 3 cups or bowls | | | 3. Markers or colored stickers |
Preparation: Mark each cup with a different color and place the clothespins in the middle of the table. How to Play | | 1. Pick a clothespin and look at its color. | | | 2. Open the clothespin using your thumb and finger. | | | 3. Clip it onto the rim of the matching colored cup. | | | 4. Keep going until all the clothespins are sorted. |

Make It Easier
Use soft clothespins and start with just two colors. It's fine to allow opening with both hands.
Make It More Challenging
Sort by a color sequence, work with the non-dominant hand, or clip a number of clothespins matching a digit on the cup.
